It All Began With an Idea…

I wanted my mom and my dreams to be something more. I love doing crafts but it’s more than creating, it’s sharing something you love with others. I love it when I do an event and give items to those who can’t afford them. We have a basket of small resin items; we call hugs. Just an item (cross, bear, heart, star & etc.) and a hug poem. You should see how kids light up while they choose their hug. I watch the parents too, they are so surprised someone is giving away something for free. My mom loved kids, she would have loved this. My friend Roula helps me, she loved mom and was with me when mom passed; it seems this was meant to be. Jeremiah 29:11 says,”For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Going on seven months now, we have slowly moved forward, adding new lines; Asian, resin and now jewelry. Each one I love. I have to mention my biggest fan who has made this possible, my husband Kevin. He encourages me, gives his honest opinion, puts up with my mess, helps setup and break down our area and he gets us food and stays with us. Mind you the events are 4 to 5 hours. He truly is my hero.

This is my first blog on my new site. Stay tuned for more….
