Thankful for friends & family
A quiet Thanksgiving. Kevin and I spent Thanksgiving home just the two of us. Amazing how easy the cleanup is when it is a 10 pound turkey and a few side dishes. GREAT FOR THE DIET…..The last few months have been difficult for me as I love to decorate for every holiday and this year due to the surgery on my arm, I was unable to do that. Christmas will soon be upon us and that is my favorite time of the year. I usually go way out and decorate the whole house but this year it will be a little less. Philippians 4:13 gives me encouragement “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. It is this that will help me get the tree up and do some decorating. Kevin will of course do the lifting. Even so I will only put up two trees. LOL. Holiday traditions for me began today with reading Luke, it is perfect for the season. Luke has 24 chapters one for each day prior to Christmas. Luke is about the birth of our Savior and it will prepare us for the Reason for the Season. We usually do a Christmas dinner for small group, counseling and spouses; this year we will be going to Gulliver’s Restaurant (just the ladies) they decorate the whole restaurant. Then on the 12th we will gather at our home for the Holiday lunch - potluck to celebrate the birth of our Savior.
I have been working on the Square website; so much to do to organize it and get it out. Also watching many tutorials on making jewelry; so many I want to do. I have added some of the easier to do pieces to the site. I am itching to do another Event. Galatians 6:9 says, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up”. Healing takes awhile and I will rest in the Lord and be patient.
Happy After Thanksgiving and Decorating for Christmas…
Love and Blessings
